Two passengers died after a sudden fire broke out in a passenger bus on the national highway near Othal in Lasbela area of Balochistan, while the death toll is expected to increase.
According to details, a passenger bus carrying 28 passengers from Karachi to Quetta caught fire on the national highway near Lasbela, which engulfed the entire vehicle.
Deputy Commissioner Quetta said that initially two passengers died while 7 injured have been rescued from the vehicle. The aid workers have also expressed fear of increase in deaths in view of the situation. Emergency has been imposed in the hospital in view of the fear of death.
Due to the fire, the Quetta-Karachi highway has been closed while fire brigade vehicles are busy extinguishing the fire.
