Quetta: Pakistan Coast Guards recovered drugs worth billions of rupees in an operation in Jiwani.
According to the spokesman, Pakistan Coast Guards, based on information received from secret sources, conducted an operation in General Area Kaldan Jiwani of Gwadar (Baluchistan), during which 1176 kg of hashish was recovered from a single cabin vehicle.
The value of the exported hashish in the international market is 19.62 million dollars, which is billions of rupees in Pakistani currency. The Coast Guard has seized the vehicle and the drugs and started legal proceedings.
According to the spokesman, Pakistan Coast Guards are always engaged in preventing all types of smuggling and will continue to play their role in stabilizing the country’s economy.
