Quetta: The government of Balochistan has announced the release of the salary of university employees, after which the strike of Balochistan University employees for 90 days has ended.
Provincial Education Minister Raheela Hameed Durrani reached the protest sit-in against the non-payment of salaries of Balochistan University employees, where she held talks with the teachers, after which the sit-in was announced.

The provincial minister said that I am sorry that my teachers were on the streets instead of classes. I announce the payment of salaries to the employees till June. He said that the employees should not come to the streets to get their salaries. A salaried class household runs on salary. I wish that all the problems of teachers are solved.
He said that due to the efforts of Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti and Provincial Finance Minister Shoaib Noshirwani, dues of university employees are being paid. Efforts are being made to allocate an entire year’s amount for university teachers in the upcoming budget. Want a permanent solution to the problems of university teachers.
Later it was announced to end the 90-day dharna by the university employees.
