Karachi: From June 2, heat intensity is likely to decrease in various districts of Sindh including Karachi.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of reduction in heat intensity from today (Friday) to June 4 in various districts of rural Sindh. Heat wave in Karachi may persist till tomorrow.
In Karachi, the heat intensity will start decreasing gradually from June 2. In other cities of Sindh, Dadu, Qamber, Shahdad Kot, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore Ghotki, mercury may be 46 to 48.
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature is likely to be 42 to 44 degrees in Sanghar, Hyderabad, Matiari, Tando Al Hiyar, Tando Mohammad Khan, Mirpur Khas and Umarkot. Thatta, Sajawal, Badin and Tharparkar may see 38 to 40 degrees.
