San Francisco: Especially in the Covid-19 pandemic, virtual meetings and online education have become a fashion around the world. In this context, where many apps have come up, new innovations have also been created in them. Now Google has introduced a virtual background in its popular app ‘Meet’ which is visible in 360 degrees.
People want no one to see scattered objects in their house during the conversation and hence the need for virtual background has arisen in video conferencing. Google Meet on both Android and iOS offers a feature that changes the background thanks to the phone’s built-in gyroscope, introducing a new and long-requested feature in virtual meetings.
There aren’t many backgrounds at the moment but maybe more will be added. A temple-like building and a beach can be added at this time. As you rotate the phone the background changes and the person in front feels like they are in a live background. However, Google wanted the background to be completely different from the home.
Earlier, Google also introduced emojis and other reactions in a video conference at MET.
