Sindh Health Minister Ezra Pechuho says that our own mistakes are responsible for the spread of thalassemia and hemophilia.
The event was organized in the Sindh Assembly under the Sindh Blood Transfusion Authority.
Sindh Health Minister Ezra Pechuho, Owais Qadir Shah and others attended the event.
Addressing the event, Ezra Pechuho said that unfortunately the spread of thalassemia and hemophilia is our fault, we could not spread the awareness in the society to get screening done before marriage.
He said that many children suffering from thalassemia are forced to undergo blood transfusions twice a week.
Sindh Health Minister said that this situation was not unique in Iran but they controlled it, I am trying to increase the budget for these children.
