Lahore: The Child Protection Bureau has taken into custody the four abandoned children found in Greater Iqbal Park, while tracing the children’s heirs.
According to the Child Protection Bureau, police took four abandoned children into custody from Greater Iqbal Park yesterday. According to the children, they came to the park last evening with their mother who left them. The local people informed the police about the children.
The children include three girls and one boy, the youngest girl is 6 months old while the child is between 3 and 4 years old.
According to the police, the abandoned child has told the local people about the residential area of Raikot, more information about the children is being collected. The abandoned son told the police that his father used to beat the mother, and the police started searching for the mother through CCTV cameras.
On the other hand, the Child Protection Bureau has taken the four children into custody. Chairperson of the Bureau and Member of Punjab Assembly Sara Ahmed says that the best care of these children will be taken in the Child Protection Bureau while the parents of these children will also be found.
