A huge amount of foreign weapons were recovered from the terrorists killed in Zhob during the operations
Quetta: Evidence of the use of foreign weapons brought from Afghanistan on Pakistan’s soil has once again come to the fore.
Forces have been conducting operations against terrorists since April 21, 2024 in the general area of Zhob district of Balochistan along the Pak-Afghan border. As a result of effective operations during the last one month, security forces killed 29 terrorists.
A large amount of foreign weapons were also recovered from these terrorists belonging to Afghanistan during the operations. On May 14, 2024, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Sambaza area of Zhob district in Balochistan during which three terrorists were killed.
A large quantity of foreign weapons including Type 69 RPG, PKM machine gun, M16 rifle, rockets, hand grenades and other explosives were also recovered from these dead terrorists.
