Due to intense heat in Lahore, the mercury is likely to go up to 44 degrees Celsius today.

According to the Meteorological Department, dusty winds are likely to blow in the evening in various districts of Punjab including Lahore, but the weather will remain dry and hot for the next two days.

Jacobabad and Mohenjo Daro recorded 47 degrees Celsius, Larkana and Sibi 46 degrees Celsius, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bhakkar and Rahim Yar Khan 45 degrees Celsius today at 11 am.

Islamabad recorded 38, Lahore 41, Karachi 35, Peshawar 39, Quetta 33, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad 32, Skardu and Murree 28, Faisalabad and Multan 41 degrees Celsius.

It should be noted that since last few days, Punjab is in the grip of intense heat.
