When will the inter exams start? New schedule released
Board of Higher Secondary Education Karachi has released the new schedule of intermediate exams.
According to the sources, Higher Secondary Education Board Karachi has announced on the direction of Minister of Universities and Bursaries Muhammad Ali Malkani that the annual intermediate examinations for 2024 in Karachi will now start from June 1 instead of May 28.
On the other hand, in this regard, Chairman Inter Board says that 21 examination centers for Matriculation and Inter are the same, so it has been decided to move forward the dates of the examinations, 21 higher secondary schools were made centers for the examinations of Inter and the same examination centers. In the centers there were to be inter exams in the morning and matric exams in the evening.
He said that the matriculation exams were postponed due to extreme hot weather, the postponed matriculation papers will be taken from May 28 in the same centers, due to which it is not possible to hold the exams of both the boards simultaneously in 21 centers.
Chairman Interboard says that this is the reason why Interboard Karachi has decided to advance the date of Intermediate Part I, Part II annual examinations for 2024, the new schedule of examinations will be announced soon.
According to the sources, more than 290,000 students will participate in the intermediate exams from Karachi, the science group paper will be taken in the morning shift. General group students will take the exam in the afternoon shift.
Science group exam timings are scheduled from 9 am to 12 am, while general group students exam timings are scheduled from 2 pm to 5 pm.
