Karachi: The Board of Higher Secondary Education Karachi has announced on the direction of the Minister of Universities and Bursaries Muhammad Ali Malkani that the Annual Intermediate Examinations in Karachi for the year 2024 will now start from June 1 instead of May 28.

Due to the increase in heat intensity in the city, the postponed papers of matriculation exams will now be held from May 28 while 21 such higher secondary schools have also been made examination centers for the inter exams where the matriculation exams will also be held.

It is not possible to conduct matriculation and interboards examinations simultaneously in the same 21 examination centers, therefore Interboard Karachi has decided to advance the date of Intermediate Part I, Part II Annual Examinations for 2024.

According to the new dates, candidates of Intermediate Part I, Part II, Science Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Science General and Home Economics groups, Fresher, Failer, Improvement of Grade, TP (twelve papers), Additional Subject, Short Subject and Special Chance candidates. The exams will start from 1st June 2024.
