Karachi: IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, taking strict notice of the arrest of the police party who released the accused in the CTD civil line with money, decided to conduct a departmental inquiry against the officers of the CTD.
Initially, two CTD officers have been issued a notification to remove them from their posts.
SSP CTD Operation Imran Shaukat was removed from the post and issued a notification to report to the CPO while DSP CTD Operation Sohail Akhtar Silhari was also removed from the post and a notification was issued to report to the CPO.

Sources said that the IG Sindh has ordered to submit a report after examining the assets of officers and personnel deployed in counter-terrorism for a long time, including residence, bank account, their personal vehicles and passports.
It should be noted that Sindh Rangers arrested the police party who left the alleged accused on the transaction during a raid on CTD civil line yesterday. On 19th, CTD detained the alleged accused Alian, who arrived in Karachi from abroad, and demanded a ransom for his release.
