Lahore: Parvaiz Elahi’s bail was approved in the Punjab Assembly illegal recruitment case.
According to Express News, former Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi got a big relief from Lahore High Court. On the bail application in the recruitment case in the Punjab Assembly, Justice Sulthan Tanveer Ahmed announced his decision, in which Parvez Elahi’s bail application was approved.
In the bail application, Parvez Elahi’s lawyer Aamir Saeed Ran had taken the position that the anti-corruption agency registered the case with a delay of 2 years. Parvez Elahi did not receive the recruitment money from any candidate. Parvez Elahi had nothing to do with this recruitment.
According to the lawyer, the anti-corruption agency made a fake recovery from Parvez Elahi’s house.
The anti-corruption lawyer told the court that the case against Parvez Elahi was registered according to the law. He was arrested on October 25, 2023.
Later, after hearing the arguments of the lawyers, the court announced the decision to approve the bail application.
