Karachi: Police officials were involved in short-term kidnapping for ransom in Shahr Quaid.

According to Express News, 2 youths Javad and Abdul Khaliq, residents of Banaras Pathan Colony from Orangi Town Mominabad, were abducted by plainclothes policemen riding 3 motorcycles and a police mobile and the youths were abducted and kept in Gulbarg police station where they were subjected to severe torture. .

A ransom of Rs 5 lakh was demanded for the release of the youth and the kidnapped youth was released after receiving a ransom of Rs 3 lakh. The kidnapped youth is a student of Jawad First Year while Abdul Khaliq runs a retail cabin.

As a result of the alleged violence, Abdul Khaliq suffered injuries on the soles and heels of the feet. Shujaat, the father of the young Jawad, said that his son and his friend were arrested on May 15 by Mominabad police officers from Bawani Chali area of ​​Cosite A. West’s special team had abducted him and later handed him over to Gulberg police.

He said that the police officials had alleged that his son and his friend were involved in buying and selling of stolen mobile phones, later Gulberg police took the ransom and chased away the two youths.
