Muslim League (N)'s decision to take direct action regarding Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan and Mazahir Naqvi

Pakistan Muslim League (N) has decided to take direct action against Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan and Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi.

According to the sources, the legal consultation was completed in the meeting presided over by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in which the legal team stated that Justice Ejaz-ul-Ahsan was the supervising judge in the case against Nawaz Sharif, Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi against the impossibility of the audio leak. Rebuttal evidence has emerged.

The Prime Minister was briefed that Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi has given adverse judgments in dozens of cases related to Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Panama, Party Leadership, Pak Patan Allotment Case, Ramzan Sugar Mills cases are included in this list, both Judges are biased towards PML-N.

The legal team briefed that it is the law and judicial tradition that controversial judges voluntarily recuse themselves from the hearing of the relevant case.

According to the sources, the legal team of Muslim League (N) will ask the two judges to separate themselves from the benches hearing the cases of Nawaz Sharif and other leaders of the party. Listen, the strategy was prepared in consultation with the legal team in the meeting.

Authorization to pass the Lawyers Protection Act

On the other hand, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif allowed the approval of the Lawyers Protection Act. The Lawyers Protection Act will be presented for in-principle approval in the next meeting of the Cabinet

Lawyers’ organizations met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, in which the Prime Minister assured that the lawyers’ community will be fully consulted regarding the appointment of judges in the Supreme Court.

The Prime Minister asked the bar representatives to present the draft of the bill on the demand of the Supreme Court for the right of appeal against the Supreme Court’s suo motu notice. The Prime Minister assured the bar representatives that the government will submit the right of appeal bill to the Parliament for approval on the Supreme Court’s spontaneous notice.

He said that lawyers have long struggled for the supremacy of law in the country, the numerous sacrifices of the lawyers community for the supremacy of the constitution and law are valued. The government caused damage to every sector of the country with its incompetence and in the same period the violations of the constitution and law reached the peak.

In the meeting, the Prime Minister while congratulating the newly elected office bearers praised their sacrifices while describing the struggle of the lawyers community as key for the supremacy of the constitution and law in the country. The Prime Minister said that the lawyers community has always played the role of the vanguard for the protection of the constitution and supremacy of law in the country.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the lawyers effectively raised their voices against every unconstitutional move of the previous government for which they deserve praise.

The delegation apprised the Prime Minister about the problems of Pakistan Bar Council, Islamabad High Court Bar Council and Bar Councils of provinces. On which the Prime Minister assured the immediate solution of all legitimate problems. Federal Prime Ministers Nazir Tarar, Rana Sanaullah, Rana Tanveer Hussain and Special Assistants Malik Ahmed Khan and Attaullah Tarar also participated in the meeting.
