Karachi: In North Nazimabad, brother allegedly shot and killed his sister in the name of honor and fled the scene.
According to the police, a 30-year-old woman was killed in a shooting incident in a house located in North Nazimabad Block Q Paharganj area of Shariah Noor Jahan. SHO Faizul Hasan said that during the preliminary investigation, it was found that the victim was the mother of a girl, her husband was residing in Peshawar, due to which the victim was absent and leaving her with her one and a half year old daughter. He said that the victim was allegedly shot dead by her brother in the name of honor and escaped.
The SHO said that the police have recovered the shells from the spot, but the police are investigating the incident further.
