Rawalpindi: In Murree, a father shot and killed his daughter and a neighbor’s son in the name of honor.
According to the details, in Bari Samli area of Murree, after killing his daughter in the name of honor, the father shot and killed the neighbor’s boy, after which both bodies were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Murree for post-mortem.
After the firing, the accused fled from the spot with the pistol, while a heavy police force launched a search operation to find the accused in Murree.
Police sources said that the accused Nizakat allegedly shot and killed his daughter Rabia in the name of honor and later shot and killed the neighbor’s boy Zafaran and fled the scene.
As soon as the incident was reported, SP President Nabil Khokhar reached Murree from Rawalpindi, where he visited the crime scene and started a search operation in the area with a heavy contingent of police to arrest the accused.
SSP Operations Hafiz Kamran Asghar said that apparently the killing of a boy and a girl seems to be a matter of honor, the real facts will come out after the arrest of the accused. Special teams have been formed to arrest the accused under the supervision of SP President. are He assured that the accused involved in the incident will be arrested and brought to justice.
