Karachi: The city continued to experience scorching heat for the third day, with the maximum temperature recorded at 39.4 degrees Celsius during the hot and dry day. From Friday, the temperature is expected to drop and the weather will remain mild.

According to Express News, due to the desert winds of Balochistan, the weather remained hot and dry throughout the day on Wednesday for the third day, while in the afternoon, during the hot air, low winds continued. An extraordinary situation did not arise.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of the city was recorded at 39.4 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in the morning was 27 degree Celsius.

According to the Early Warning Center of the Meteorological Department, the heat wave may continue today (Thursday) during which the mercury may exceed 40 degrees. During this time, the forecast is partly cloudy while the maximum temperature may be recorded between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius.
