According to the spokesperson, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah administered polio drops to children at the newly constructed dispensary in Gulshan-i-Akakhel, Gadap.
Provincial Health Minister Dr. Ezra Fazal Pechuho, Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Haider Shah and others were also accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
On this occasion, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that a special anti-polio campaign has been started in 24 districts of Sindh.
He issued instructions to the administration and police to provide security and other facilities to the health workers.
Sindh Health Minister Dr. Ezra Pechuho and Health Secretary Rahim Baloch also gave a briefing to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on the anti-polio campaign.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also gave gifts to the children by giving them polio drops on the occasion of the inauguration of the anti-polio campaign.
Speaking to the media, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the government of Sindh has deployed 62,000 frontline workers in a special anti-polio campaign, anti-polio vaccine will be provided at homes, schools, hospitals and transit points.
He says that we are determined to ensure the safety of children, more than 4000 security personnel are with us for a special anti-polio campaign, it is a pity that environmental samples from 11 different places in Sindh have tested positive.
