Karachi: 78 police personnel were transferred from Shikarpur to Karachi on the charge of facilitating the dacoits of raw materials.
According to police sources, a secret inquiry was initiated against the officials posted in Shikarpur after information was leaked during the operation against the dacoits, which revealed that they were alleged facilitators of the dacoits.
Instead of punishing or dismissing the said police officers, they were transferred to Karachi so that now the people of Karachi can benefit from their services where citizens are already being killed by dacoit rule.
Sources say that during the operation against the dacoits of raw materials, it has been decided that the policemen who are suspected of having links with the dacoits should be transferred from Shikarpur range.
Sources say that a survey is being conducted across Sindh of police officers who are the liaisons of dacoits.
