In Narowal, Punjab, the groom’s brothers showered precious gifts in the joy of the barat.
According to reports, when the procession reached the bride’s house in Siddikpura area, the groom’s brothers and friends climbed on the roof and showered valuable gifts, the video of which has gone viral on social media.
These valuable gifts included mobile phones, watches, suits and currency notes. On this occasion, a crowd of people kept running to get the gifts, some people even set traps to steal the notes.
The wedding of Narowal’s businessman and former councilor’s son was attended by the city’s political and social figures, including the federal minister.
