Karachi: Two new routes of People’s Pink Bus Service have been inaugurated while this service has been made free for women for two months.
According to Express News, a ceremony was held in this regard, People’s Party leader Faryal Talpur inaugurated two new routes of the People’s Pink Bus Service exclusively for women in Karachi. Senior Minister of Information, Transport Sharjeel Memon, Nasir Hussain Shah, Murtaza Wahab, Salman Murad and others were also present in the event.
Faryal Talpur congratulated Sharjeel Inam Memon and the Sindh government on the launch of new routes of pink bus service and said that easy travel facilities are the vision of President Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Safe and comfortable travel is a gift of the Sindh government for women. Yes, providing facilities for women and empowering women will bring development and prosperity.
On this occasion, he also announced that the Sindh government would run the pink bus service free of charge for women for two months. In the ceremony, Faryal Talpur gave licenses to 4 women drivers of Pink Bus Service.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that 2 new routes of pink bus service are numbered R-3 and R-9, pink bus service route R-3 from Powerhouse Chowrangi North Karachi to Nasir Jump Korangi and the other route R-9 from Gulshan-e-Hadid. Tower, a total of 10 new pink buses are being operated on both the new routes.
