Peshawar: 15 doctors who were suspended for not getting medicines on health cards at Lady Reading Hospital have been reinstated.
According to the hospital statement, 15 trainee doctors, including 4 associate professors, were suspended as a result of an inquiry on improper treatment of health card patients, however, the 15 suspended doctors have been reinstated as the allegations were not proven.

Gynecology in-charge associate professor Dr. Saida Abrar has been suspended and an inquiry has been scheduled for misrepresentation in the inquiry committee. Dr. Fazal Rabbani, Dr. Shahida Tasneem, Dr. Nuzhat Raheel are included in the 3-member committee formed in this regard. The committee will submit its report to the government in the next 3 days.
It has been said in the announcement that an inquiry has been set on the video viral on social media for prescribing drugs from the market to the patient admitted for treatment on the health card. The suspended doctors were not on duty at the time of the incident, but the doctors were suspended in the light of the statement of the acting chairperson of Guinea.
