Karachi: Pakistan People’s Party Sindh General Secretary Waqar Mehdi has said that the Sindh government is working on a project to build two ten-storey towers to provide more treatment facilities and the increasing pressure of patients in the Sindh Civil Hospital Karachi.
Talking to the journalists after laying foundation stone in Civil Hospital Karachi, he said that Civil Hospital is the only hospital in Sindh where treatment facilities for all diseases are being provided under one roof. The government is also trying to provide treatment to the people of the province. All medical facilities should be provided.
He said that the caretaker government has not paid any attention to the hospitals of Sindh, the government will start work on the project of building two towers in the civil hospital so that the hospital can be expanded.
Besides, he assured the MS of the hospital that the shortage of staff in the hospital will also be met. Dr. Khalid Bukhari, MS of the hospital, said that there is severe pressure of patients with confidence in the civil hospital.
He further said that we try to provide treatment facilities to every patient who comes to the hospital.
