Karachi: Moderate to heavy rain is predicted in Shahr Quaid on April 17 and 18.
According to the Meteorological Department, a new series of westerly winds will enter southwest Balochistan on the night of April 16, which may rain in Sindh province including Karachi.
This series of winds will spread in most districts of Balochistan on April 17 and on April 18 this series of winds will spread in the upper regions of the country.
Medium intensity rain with thunder and lightning and heavy rain at some places is expected in Karachi on the night of April 17 and April 18.

Besides, in the districts of Jacobabad, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Sukkur, Khairpur, Ghotki, Qamber, Shahdadkot, Jamshoro, Dadu, Nowshahroferoz, Sanghar, Matiari, Hyderabad, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tandwala Yar, Mirpur Khas, Thatta, Umarkot and Badin. Heavy rain is expected.
According to the meteorological department, between the night of 16th and 19th April, Gwadar, Kech, Awaran, Chagai, Kharan, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Kalat, Nushki, Mastung, Nasirabad, Sabi, Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Barkhan, Loralai, Harnai, Qila Saifullah, There will be rain with strong winds in Ziarat, Shiran and Zhob.
Similarly, most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will receive rain during April 17-21 while Gilgit-Baltistan/Kashmir is expected to receive heavy rains during April 18-21.
It should be noted that moderate and heavy rains were recorded in different areas of Karachi yesterday as well.
