Lahore: WAPDA employee (XEN) who added extra units in electricity bills was handed over to FIA on physical remand.
The hearing of the case of putting extra units in the electricity bills of the citizens was held in District Kachhari Lahore, while hearing which the court handed over XEN Wapda Baghbanpura to FIA on 4-day physical remand.
It should be noted that FIA Lahore had arrested the accused Rabyar and produced him in the court, where Chaudhry Sajjad Advocate appeared. Judicial Magistrate Rizwan Ahmed issued a written order on the request for physical remand after the hearing.
In a written order, the court said that according to the public prosecutor, the accused Rab Yar installed excess units of electricity in 2021 and 2022. Citizens who used less than 100 units were also given 6,600 units. The FIA requested a 14-day physical remand of the accused for investigation.
