Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has expressed his anger over the publication of photos of distribution of Eid packages to the beneficiaries and has sought an explanation from the relevant authorities and public representatives.

According to the spokesperson of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has taken notice of the publication of pictures of the distribution of Eid packages by the provincial government to the deserving families and has expressed his anger over this process and has sought an explanation from the relevant government officials and public representatives. .

The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has said that this action by some government officials and elected public representatives is a violation of government and party policy.

Ali Amin Gandapur said that the provincial government has given Ramadan packages to eight and a half lakh deserving families in a transparent manner. In view of the self-respect of the deserving families, the Ramadan packages were distributed through bank accounts.

He said that Eid package was also given to more than 170,000 families including police martyrs.

The Chief Minister said that it was the policy of the party and the government to avoid publishing pictures and videos of distribution of Eid packages and that is why I did not participate in any function of distribution of packages to the Chief Minister and did not distribute packages.

He said that despite the clear policy of the provincial government and the party, pictures and videos of some government officials and public representatives distributing Eid packages to the beneficiaries were published, on which an explanation has been sought from the concerned persons.

Ali Amin Gandapur said that the present provincial government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf believe in practical service to the people instead of propaganda.

The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that in future it will be ensured that no one’s self-respect is allowed to be hurt in the name of aid or package.
