Due to non-payment of salaries of the employees of Jamia Balochistan, the sit-in continues even on the day of Eid

Quetta: Jamia Balochistan employees are still protesting on the day of Eid al-Fitr due to non-payment of salaries.

According to Express News, the teachers are still sitting on dharna on Saryab Road in protest against non-payment of salaries. During the protest, teachers and employees of Jamia Balochistan marched from the university to Saryab Road after the Eid prayer.

Employees and teachers of Jamia protested at the main gate of the university. On this occasion, Balochistan Assembly member Prince Umar Ahmadzai participated in the demonstration to show solidarity with the university employees.

President Academy Staff Association Dr. Kaleemullah Barich said on this occasion that the university employees and their children have been deprived of the happiness of Eid by not paying their salaries. The rulers do not understand the university employees and their children. Payment of salaries of university employees and pension of pensioners should be ensured.
