Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the flood victims are still living a life of poverty.
A review meeting regarding the progress of rehabilitation projects in flood-affected districts in the province was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, in which project director Isfandiar Kakar gave a detailed briefing to the participants.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed concern over the delay in rehabilitation projects and directed to speed up the work. He said that the flood victims are still living a miserable life. There is no room for further delay in rehabilitation projects.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti congratulated Yusuf Raza Gilani as Senate Chairman and Syedal Khan Nasir as Deputy Chairman Senate and expressed his best wishes. He said that the unanimous election of the Chairman and Deputy Chairman for the Upper House is a reflection of democratic attitudes.
