Panjgur: Security forces killed two terrorists in Balochistan’s Panjgur district acting on a tip-off.
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), it was said that on the intervening night of April 5 and 6, security forces acted on the basis of secret information about the presence of terrorists in Panjgur district.
ISPR said that after a fierce exchange of fire during the operation, 2 terrorists including terrorist Asad Hasrat were killed and a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from them.
The statement said that the slain terrorists were involved in several acts of terrorism against security forces as well as innocent civilians in the area.
The ISPR said that Pakistan’s security forces are committed to working with the nation to thwart attempts to sabotage the peace, stability and development of Balochistan.
