According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), eight terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in DI Khan on the information of the presence of terrorists by the security forces.
On April 5, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan district on information about the presence of terrorists. Meanwhile, 8 terrorists were killed in the fierce exchange of fire.
According to the spokesman of the Pakistan Army, the slain terrorists were active in several acts of terrorism against the security forces and target killing of innocent civilians. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the dead terrorists.
The operation by the security forces has been appreciated by the people of the area while the sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate other terrorists found in the area. The security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
