Silla Yasin, 22, who was sitting outside the house near 5E Khadija-ul-Kubra Masjid in New Karachi area, was injured by motorcycle-borne bandits while snatching his mobile phone and fired on resistance.

The bandits were fleeing after the incident when people chased them, while at some distance near Power House Alam Pride, the bandits opened fire on the pursuers, as a result of which 32-year-old Amir was seriously injured by a bullet on the chest.

The injured was being taken to the hospital in critical condition and he succumbed to his injuries while at the same time a 22-year-old passer-by named Shahid was also injured by a bullet on his back.

On resistance, bandits shot 70-year-old Hamid Ali in the stomach near Shadman Town and seriously injured him, who was being taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in critical condition. He succumbed to his injuries on the way.

As soon as the incident was reported, a heavy police force including the Noor Jahan Police reached the spot and called the Crime Scene Unit to collect evidence.

The person who was with the deceased said that the robbers were robbing the watermelon seller at Inda Mor, when Hamid Ali resisted them, they opened fire and killed him.

Deceased Hamid Ali was a resident of North Karachi Sector 7 D4 Nazish Apartment and a father of 3 children and was at the forefront of helping people.

Prior to this incident, the robbers shot and injured 21-year-old Abdul Rahman who was shot in the neck during the robbery near Sakhi Hasan Cemetery in Shariah Noor Jahan area.

Regarding the successive incidents of street crimes in District Central, DIG West Zone Irfan Baloch said that police teams are working on both the incidents and have obtained the footages of the closed circuit cameras installed on the escape routes of the robbers. are going to help identify them.

In response to a question, he said that against street criminals, the police had busted 25 gangs of robbers during a week, while 2 robbers were killed and 31 were arrested with injuries. The murderers involved in the incident will be traced soon.
