The police will not even bother Shesha Cafe owners.
Karachi: Green signal has been given to Shisha Cafes in Shahr Quaid and Karachi Police has been stopped from cracking down.
According to police sources, orders have been issued by the Sindh government to the top police officers that no legislation has been passed against shisha cafes. Police will no longer crack down on shisha cafes.
Police sources have further said that there are a large number of shisha cafes in posh areas of the city of Karachi, which have been cracked down on for the past several years, but still the cafes have not been completely closed, rather, the Karachi police have stopped the shisha cafes. The series of weekly and monthly extortion had been started, after which the Sindh government has issued clear orders to the police to stop the crackdown against the shisha cafes and to deploy police personnel outside the shisha cafes so that Do not use youth drugs under the guise of shisha cafes.
If youth use drugs in shisha cafes, a case should be registered against these shisha cafes and the owner of the shisha cafe will also be arrested.
Karachi Police sources have confirmed that following orders from the Sindh government, police personnel have been deployed outside Shisha Cafes in the South and East Zones to keep an eye on any negative activities. If it is used, no action will be taken against it and the police will not harass the Shesha cafe owners.
