The Pakistan Coast Guards recovered hashish by acting on a tip-off
Quetta: An attempt to smuggle a large quantity of hashish by boat from Gwadar was foiled.
According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Coast Guards, while processing the information received from secret sources in Gwadar area of Balochistan, the smuggling attempt has been foiled by exporting a large quantity of high quality hashish.
A search team was formed on receipt of confirmed reports of drug smuggling through the lowlands of Gwadar, which foiled an attempt to smuggle hashish by boat in the Sharabi track area during the operation.
During the operation, seeing the search team of the Crest Guards, the smugglers took advantage of the darkness of the night and escaped, leaving behind the boat and the drugs. In the process, legal action has been started by exporting 164 kg of high quality hashish.
