Karachi: The Sindh government has removed Karachi Police Chief Additional IG Khadim Rind and replaced him with Imran Yaqoob Minhas as the new Chief of Karachi Police.
In the notification issued by the government of Sindh, it has been stated that Additional Inspector General (AIG) Khadim Hussain Rand, Grade 21 officer of police service, has been transferred and posted as Additional Inspector General of Police Operations.
The notification stated that the additional charge of Additional Inspector General Finance, Logistics and Welfare Muzaffar Ali Sheikh has been withdrawn.
It was further informed that Grade 21 police officer Additional Inspector General of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Imran Yaqoob Minhas has been given additional charge of AIG, Karachi until further notice.
