Since 8 years, Sindh has not got any new project in PSDP, Murad Ali Shah
Karachi: Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in which it was agreed to further improve small and medium enterprises.
Sindh Chief Minister and Federal Finance Minister also discussed the prices of industrial gas. Chief Minister Sindh said that the industrialists are worried about the rising gas prices. The Federal Minister of Finance said that he will discuss it with the Federal Minister of Petroleum.
The Chief Minister of Sindh said that in 2015, the FBR deducted 6 billion rupees from Sindh by reading the news of one billion for vehicle registration, now the federal government has deducted 13 billion rupees for HESCO and SEPCO.
The Federal Minister told the Sindh Chief Minister that he will solve the problems of at-source deduction.
Chief Minister Sindh said that for the last 8 years, Sindh did not get any new project in Public Sector Development Programs (PSDP), the federal government gave new projects to other provinces but neglected Sindh, if there is any in the federal government of Sindh. If you don’t want to do the PSDP project, it should be discussed, the funds that the federal government had reserved for the construction of flood-affected houses are still not released.
The Federal Finance Minister told the Sindh Chief Minister that he will resolve the issues between the FBR and the Sindh government.
