The inauguration ceremony of the self-enumeration portal for the 7th census was held in Islamabad.
Federal Minister IT Aminul Haq also participated in the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Statistician Naeem Al Zafar said that all stakeholders were consulted on the census. Census will not be allowed to become controversial.
Chief Statistician Naeem Al Zafar further said that the Statistics Authority has updated all its data. Population and house census will start from March 1.
He said that objections like sixth census will not arise. Will ensure transparency in census.
