FIA Balochistan Zone conducted operations in various areas along with DRAP officials
Quetta: A large number of fake medicines were recovered during FIA’s crackdown in Balochistan.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, the crackdown is on against the elements involved in the sale of fake and unregistered drugs. 4 inquiries have been registered against the accused involved in the sale.
Anti-Corruption Circle Quetta recovered a large quantity of fake medicines from a store located in Hazarganj Quetta. The raid was carried out on a tip-off in collaboration with DRAP officials, in which more than 100 types of unregistered and counterfeit drugs were seized.
Antibiotics, painkillers and life-saving medicines are also among the recovered medicines.
FIA Chaman conducted raids at 3 different medical stores located on Powerhouse Road and seized the suspected drugs from different stores and handed them over to the DRIP authorities and inquiries were registered against the accused.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, during the last 2 weeks, FIA Balochistan zone has conducted 33 raids against the elements involved in the sale of fake medicines, in which 21 inquiries have been registered against the accused. A huge number of fake medicines have been seized during the raids. Further action will be taken against all the accused on the report of DRAP officials.
