Peshawar: Earthquake tremors were felt in the cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Islamabad, Peshawar, Bajaur, Dir, Chitral, Rustam and surrounding areas.
According to Express News, the earthquake has been felt in different areas of the province. Severe tremors of the earthquake were felt in Bajaur, similarly people felt the ground shaking in Lower and Upper Dir.
According to reports, a mild earthquake was felt in Peshawar, Katling and Mardan, but very strong tremors were felt in Chitral. There was no immediate report of loss of life and property.
According to the seismological center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 5.3, the epicenter was the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region.
