Karachi: A mother was killed and her daughter injured in a firing incident inside a house in Pirabad.
As soon as the incident was reported, SSP West Abdul Hafeez Bugti and SHO Pirabad Shahid Taj reached the spot. The police immediately shifted the body of the victim and the injured daughter to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, the crime scene unit secured the evidence at the scene.
SSP District West said that the mother who died in the firing was identified as 40-year-old Habiba, while the injured daughter was identified as 18-year-old Marwa Dakhtar Fazal, who is being provided medical aid.
He said that according to preliminary information, the deceased woman had been angry with her husband for some time and both the mother and daughter had rented the said house for 6 months while the deceased Habiba was settling her daughter’s relationship.
According to SSP West, both mother and daughter were sitting at the table for Iftar in Pirabad Frontier Colony, Farhania Mohalla, during which the accused entered the house and opened fire on them, killing the mother and injuring the daughter. escaped.
SHO Shahid Taj said that the deceased was living on the first floor of the house, while tenants live on the ground floor below.
The deceased’s husband says that I do not know that his wife and children lived here, the deceased belonged to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The police are trying to find the footage of the closed circuit cameras installed in the area and soon the mystery of the murder will be solved.
