Karachi: The test pass system has been activated for the appointment of SHOs in the police stations of Shahr Quaid.
The police chief constituted a committee on tests and interviews for appointing SHOs. Officers with good reputation will be included in the pool of SHOs.
According to the notification Inspector and Sub Inspector USC qualified officers can submit their application. The SHOs who are posted can also give the test. Officers who have passed the test in the past should not submit applications. All the officers will be appointed SHOs from the passed pool.
It should be noted that IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon had introduced the pool policy of test pass SHOs. Officers who are not USC qualified will be removed from the posting of SHOs.
