Security forces foiled the terrorist attack on Pakistan Navy Air Base PN Siddique in Turbat, killing 4 terrorists while a soldier was martyred in the exchange of fire.
According to ISPR, terrorists attempted to attack PNS Siddique on the intervening night of March 25 and 26, but the security personnel foiled the attack while ensuring the safety of the assets.
Security forces in the vicinity were immediately mobilized to assist the naval forces, after an effective response by the armed forces, all four terrorists were killed in a joint clearance operation.
During the fierce exchange of fire, Frontier Corps Balochistan soldier Nauman Farid fought bravely and embraced martyrdom. Shaheed was 24 years old and a resident of Muzaffargarh.
