Islamabad: A case was registered against former senator Mushtaq Ahmed and the organizers for staging a sit-in in favor of Gaza in D Chowk.
According to Express News, a sit-in was held in D Chowk by the Gaza Rescue Campaign, on which a case was registered against former senator Mushtaq Ahmed and the organizers for violating Article 144.
The text of the FIR states that the participants shouted slogans against the government institutions over the sound system. And they will besiege the important offices of the Secretariat and anyone who tries to stop them will die.
It is said in the text that more than 300 baton-carrying men and women continued to move towards D Chowk, the participants threatened the police and pelted stones. The protestors under the leadership of the lady constable were also pushed.
