Islamabad: It has been decided to convene the meeting of the National Assembly on April 1 for the elections on 48 seats of the Senate.
According to the sources of the National Assembly Secretariat, the approval regarding the Senate elections will be taken in the National Assembly session on April 2 and the National Assembly hall will be converted into a polling station.
The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has sent the summary to the Prime Minister House and the Prime Minister House will send the summary of convening the meeting to the President.
The President of the State will convene the meeting of the National Assembly on April 1.
