Karachi: In North Karachi, robbers killed another youth by firing on resistance, this year the number of civilians who died on resistance in robbery has reached 44.
According to DSP New Karachi Waseem Ahmed, 2 suspects riding a motorcycle were robbing a foam shop near North Karachi Sector 5 L Saima Apartment. They tried to catch the accused by taking them out of the shop.
The accused fired four shots, one of which hit Abdul Rahman in the face and stuck in his neck. was in second place.
The deceased was immediately taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where the doctors conducted the post-mortem and the police handed over the body to the heirs after legal action.
The DSP further said that apart from the electronics shop, the deceased Jameel also worked at a multi-foam shop, due to which he left his shop and went to catch the robbers when the accused opened fire.
The heirs of the deceased Abdul Rehman have appealed to the government and President Asif Ali Zardari to arrest the accused involved in the incident and bring them to justice.
The Karachi Police Chief suspended and demoted SHO Bilal Colony Shahzad Salim immediately after the killing of Abdul Rehman and ordered an inquiry into the incident.
