Peshawar: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Haji Ghulam Ali, on behalf of the President of the State, has awarded Presidential Civil Honors to 58 individuals of the province for their exemplary services in their respective fields.
Governor Haji Ghulam Ali awarded Mayor Peshawar Haji Zubair Ali with the Presidential Civil Award Medal of Distinction in recognition of his valuable services in the field of public services, while in the same way, 36 other personalities of the province were also awarded the Presidential Civil Award of Distinction.
The governor awarded 2 personalities Ismat Jabeen Afridi and Dr. Nadeem Jan with the presidential award Satara Imtiaz for their valuable services in the field of public services, while 6 personalities of the province were awarded the Presidential Award Tamgha Shujaat and 14 personalities were awarded the Presidential Civil Award for Good Performance.
In a solemn ceremony held at the Governor House, Peshawari Chapel was awarded to Noordin (Uncle Nora), Pashto Singing Department to Humayun Khan, Education Department to Dr. Umar Shahbaz Khan, Cyber Security Department to Dr. Kashif Kifait, Medicine Department to Dr. Amjad Mehboob, Gulab Khel to Art Department. Rabab, Ajab Gul Khan in the Department of Art, Acting and Directing, Ishrat Abbas in the Department of Art, Drama, Radio, Theater Acting, Ajab Khan in the Department of Calligraphy and Painting, Prof. Ahsamuddin Al-Ma’roof Asir Mangal in the Department of Poetry, Literature and Writer, Ahmad Hussain. Mujahid was awarded the Presidential Medal for Good Performance in the Department of Literature, Poetry, Writer and Aziz Ijaz in the Department of Literature, Poetry and the late Muhammad Khalil was awarded the Presidential Medal for Good Performance in the Department of Art and Music Direction. which was received by his brother Farrukhzeb.
Apart from this, Farmanullah was awarded the bravery department, Uzmat Ali Shah was given the bravery department, Mujeebullah was given the bravery department, Mushkatullah was awarded the bravery department, Ashfaq Ahmed was awarded the bravery department and Mujeebullah Shah was also awarded the Presidential Medal of Bravery in recognition of exemplary bravery and outstanding performance in the bravery department. awarded by
Muhammad Waseem, Department of Fine Woodwork, Danish Atlas Khan, Sports Squash Department, Professor Dr. Shaukat Saeed, Department of Science, Materials Chemistry, Professor Dr. Sardar Khan, Department of Environmental Sciences, Professor Dr. Abdul Naeem Khan, Department of Science Chemistry, Abdul Batin Farooqui, Department of Acting, Almas Khan Khalil, Department of Pashto Folk Singing, Fazal Wahab Dard, Department of Art and Singing, Professor Dr. Gul Rahim Khan, Department of Archeology, Dr. Muhammad Ismail (Ismail Gohar) Department of Literature, Writing, Amjad Aziz Malik, Department of Journalism, Dr. Muhammad Quraish Khan Public Service Department, Haji Zubair Ali in Public Service Department, Jahanzeb Malik in recognition of his exemplary services in the Art and Painting Department were awarded the President’s Medal of Distinction.
Apart from this, the late Shams Al-Qamar Andish was awarded posthumously with the Imtiaz Medal of the Department of Art, Literature and Poetry, and his daughter Wahida received the award. Similarly, the late Khairaz Gul was posthumously awarded the Imtiaz Medal in the Department of Health. Naeemullah, the son of the deceased, received the award. The late Mohammadi Shah was posthumously awarded the Imtiaz medal in recognition of his exemplary services in the health sector, his son Shah Nawaz received the award. Late Dr. Phag Chand Singh was posthumously awarded the Medal of Imtiaz for exemplary services in the field of health, his late son Jatin Kumar received the award. The late Muhammad Abbas Tariq Abbasi was posthumously awarded the Medal of Distinction in the Department of Health, which was received by his son Muhammad Tayyab.
It should be noted that Uncle Nooruddin had prepared special Peshawar slippers for the governor’s son, City Mayor Peshawar Haji Zubair Ali and PTI founder chairman Imran Khan.
