Islamabad: Chief Executive of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (ISCO) Dr. Muhammad Amjad warned the consumers that they will collect one pie of the dues from the defaulters and those who will pay the bill will get electricity.
Dr. Muhammad Amjad said that dues of more than 2 billion 47 crore rupees have been recovered from 97 thousand 751 defaulters and the crackdown against consumers who do not pay electricity bills is continuing successfully in all operation circles of ISCO.
Actions against electricity defaulters have been intensified on the instructions of Chief Minister Power Division and all field officers have been warned to ensure 100% recovery of electricity dues.
ISCO field officers have been directed to disconnect the meters and transformers of non-paying consumers and initiate legal action against them.
During the ISCO campaign launched for recovery of electricity dues, dues of more than 2 billion 47 crore 33 lakhs have been collected from 97 thousand 751 running and dead defaulters so far.
Chief Executive ISCO requested the consumers to pay their electricity bills on time and said that no discount has been taken from any defaulter and the action will continue without discrimination.
