Quetta: In various cities of Balochistan, hundreds of cords were cut in action against electricity thieves and a fine of 22 lakh rupees was imposed on the electricity thieves.
According to Kesco, operations against electricity thieves and defaulters are ongoing in Quetta, Pashin, Loralai, Sabi, Khuzdar and Makran operation circles. Yesterday, during the special campaign, 41 thousand 199 electricity units were charged to the electricity thieves as a detection fine. The value is 22 lakh 90 thousand rupees.
According to Kesco, during the last 24 hours, about 22 lakh rupees have been collected from electricity thieves in the form of detection and fines.
