Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly has decided to adopt austerity by following the government policy.
According to National Assembly sources, they returned more than 40 employees from the Speaker’s House to the National Assembly. Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq said in this regard that they do not want more staff. He said that security vehicles should also be reduced.

He has also returned 6 security vehicles and asked for the details of all the expenses of the speaker house and office for this year.
It may be noted that the Cabinet Division has issued an austerity policy in the light of the decisions of the Federal Cabinet, under which government officials have been directed to travel abroad only for unavoidable reasons.
Under the policy, government officials are banned from staying in five-star hotels during their foreign visits. Teleconferencing has been directed to be preferred on overseas trips.
