8 terrorists, including the most wanted terrorist commander, were killed in an operation by security forces in North Waziristan.
According to ISPR, on Sunday and Monday night, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the district of North Waziristan on information about the presence of terrorists.
After a fierce exchange of fire during the operation, 8 terrorists including the most wanted terrorist commander Sahar alias Janan were killed.
Terrorist Sahar was involved in the planning of the March 16 terrorist attack on the security forces post in Mir Ali and was highly wanted by the law enforcement forces.
According to the ISPR, operations are underway to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
